City’s first baby of ‘13 born to Kitts Hill family
HUNTINGTON — The city’s first baby of 2013 is a boy.
The infant, Eric Johnothan Gillenwater, was born at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He represents the first son in three children for parents Joe and Ginger Gillenwater of Kitts Hill, Ohio.
The baby boy weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 inches in length. Mother and baby are healthy and doing well.

Elsewhere, no births have been reported since midnight at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Charleston recorded its first birth at 5 a.m. at Charleston Area Medical Center’s Women and Children’s Hospital, according to hospital officials.
