Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Chapmanville, W.Va.; burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Godby, W.Va. GWINN AKERS, 77, of Kenova, W.Va., widower of Edith Adkins Akers, died Jan. 7 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was a truck driver for Unijax. CAROL JEAN AUVIL, 83 of South Point, Ohio. widow of Leo Otis Auvil, died Jan. 6 in Ashland Community Hospice. She was a retired bookkeeper. JOHN KAY BING, 54, of Bethlehem, N.C., died Dec. 29, 2012, at home. Funeral services were held Jan. 2, 2013, at Bass-Smith Funeral Home, Hickory, N.C.; burial followed Jan. 3, 2013, in Mills-Vaughn-Bing Cemetery, East Lynn, W.Va.
