Jan. 21, 2013 @ 11:27 PM

HUNTINGTON — Two men were arrested late Saturday in connection with a methamphetamine bust in the city’s Altizer neighborhood.

Those arrested were Eric Edward Mount, 41, and Steven Phillip Carter, 30, according to jail records and an incident report filed with the West Virginia State Police.

It followed state police responding to a disturbance call about 10:10 p.m. Saturday along Riverside Drive. That led to them finding a shake-and-bake meth lab and ingredients typically used to make the drug. Troopers also found a counterfeit $50 bill.

Both men were charged with conspiracy and counterfeiting. Carter also faces a count of operating/attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab, while Mount faces a count of possessing a controlled substance.

Carter was jailed on a $60,000 bond, while Mount’s bond was set at $55,000.
