W.Va. state park bridge replacement under way
CLIFFTOP, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia officials say the bridge that spans Glade Creek at Babcock State Park is being replaced.
Construction is under way at the vehicular bridge near the much-photographed Glade Creek Grist Mill. The bridge vehicle and foot traffic access to the majority of facilities at the Fayette County park.
Officials say the bridge replacement work is being done by the West Virginia Division of Highways and park personnel. The work is expected to be completed by the end of March.
Because of the construction work, the Division of Natural Resources says trout stocking is being delayed until April.
