November 13, 2012 @ 11:00 PM

HUNTINGTON -- Programs to assist seniors in need received a boost this week with a $2,000 donation to the Cabell Huntington Hospital's Foundation and Senior Services Department. The donations came from Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lincoln Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and the American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM).

AMFM owns and operates 11 care centers throughout West Virginia, including the centers in Wayne and Lincoln Counties, where Cabell Huntington Hospital provides care for many of their residents. The $2,000 donation will be used to enrich the services provided to seniors through the hospital's Senior Services Department.

Wednesday's donation was presented by Michael D. Gore, executive director for Lincoln Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Cindy Cooper, executive director for Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
