Man arrested after rollover crash
HUNTINGTON -- A man was arrested Friday night after he crashed his car into a creek along a busy Huntington street.
The crash happened in the 1300 block of Enslow Boulevard, just in front of Enslow Park Presbyterian Church, at about 10:30 p.m., according to Cabell County 911 dispatcher reports.
The SUV was traveling eastbound on Enslow when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a slab of concrete near the road. The vehicle rolled down the bank until it landed on its side in Fourpole Creek, said Huntington Police Sgt. Kendra Beckett.
The driver wasn't injured, but he did tell dispatchers and police that he was drunk at the scene. He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence.
Enslow Boulevard was closed for about an hour while emergency crews cleared the scene.
