Michigan man arrested on felony possession drug charge

The following information was provided by criminal complaints filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court:

Keith Antonio Braithwaite, 30, of Highland Park, Mich., was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver Sunday morning.

The criminal complaint states Braithwaite conspired with two unnamed individuals to deliver approximately 175.2 grams of heroin.

Edna Renee Brown, 42, of Charleston, was charged with felony shoplifting, third offense, Tuesday evening.

Brown was in a vehicle on which officers initiated a traffic stop along U.S. 60. Inside the car, officers found a bag containing a variety of electronics that had been reported stolen from Walmart in the 3300 block of U.S. 60. Surveillance footage from the store showed Brown's involvement with the incident in question, and a background check revealed she had two pro pr shoplifting convictions.

A male passenger in the car fled on foot during the traffic stop, but he was later caught and arrested. A woman driving the car was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license.

The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:

BURGLARY: A 23-year-old man reported he left his apartment in the 2200 block of Guthrie Street unlocked while he was away overnight Sunday, and when he returned, he discovered $3,100 in electronics were missing from the residence.

EMBEZZLEMENT: An employee with Aarons Sales and Lease in the 2600 block of 5th Avenue reported he was doing inventory at the store on Monday and discovered two televisions worth a total of $1,244 were missing from the business.

BURGLARY: A 57-year-old woman reported she arrived to her home in the 3200 block of Chase Street on Monday evening to find the front door was open. Officers arrived on the scene and cleared the residence. The woman reported $9,300 in jewelry, $100 in change and $100 in frozen food was missing from her home.

The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Tiffany Marie Biland, 32, was incarcerated at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Mason County charged her with being a fugitive from justice. Bond was denied.

Christopher Michael Price, 23, was incarcerated Monday evening. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony burglary. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
