State police to beef up holiday patrols
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia motorists heading out over the holiday weekend should anticipate seeing increased patrols on the state’s highways in an effort to help keep travelers safe.
State Police will focus on enforcement of laws involving drunken and reckless driving, speeding, seat belts and child restraints.
The enforcement period runs from Friday through Sunday as part of a national campaign.
