ROBERT E. BAYER, 80, of South Point, Ohio, husband of Nellie Hall Bayer, died Oct. 5 in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was a retired engineer with C&O Railroad. Ruth Boyd, 95, died September 28, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. At her request, her body has been given to the Marshall University School of Medicine. A memorial service is being planned for Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Trinity Episcopal Church at 3 p.m. A reception will be held afterward in the church dining room, where the family will receive friends.
