Forecast includes a bit of frost
Tri-State residents could get a reminder early this week that with October comes signs that winter's not far behind, with low temperatures forecast in the 30s.
Here's the National Weather Service forecast for the week:
Sunday: A slight chance of showers between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 55. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Sunday night: Patchy frost after 4 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Calm wind.
Monday: Patchy frost before 9 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 60.
Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 68.
Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50.
Wednesday: A chance of showers between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 65.
Thursday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.
Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 49.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70.
