November 10, 2012 @ 11:58 AM

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio _ A Portsmouth man was arrested earlier this week on charges of having a meth lab at a home on Dever Street in Portsmouth, according to a news release from the office of Sheriff Marty V. Donini.

Dustin E. Carver, 32, of the 4200 block of Dever Street, Portsmouth, was arrested Wednesday at his home on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine within 100 feet of a juvenile and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine and transported to the Scioto County Jail, according to the release.

After serving a search warrant at the residence, deputies found chemicals and materials used in the manufacture of Methamphetamine and an active “one pot” methamphetamine cook, according to the release.

Carver was being held in lieu of $175,000 bond, according to the release.
