Two men wanted in armed robbery
WAYNE -- West Virginia State Police are looking for two suspects who reportedly tied up a clerk before stealing money from a general store in Fort Gay just before noon Friday.
Troopers were dispatched to BJ's along Old Mill Creek Road for a report of an armed robbery at 11:50 a.m., according to a press release from the state police.
An employee reported two men entered the business and brandished a large knife, saying they were robbing her, according to the release.
The clerk said the men used electrical tape to bind her hands, and they forced her into the video gaming room, where another customer was located, and they shut them in that room.
The men took $1,969 in cash and a cellphone before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means, according to the release.
The suspects were described as white males with dark hair. Both of the men were wearing blue hooded sweatshirts at the time of the incident. One of the men was described as having no front teeth.
