Roberts named PSC consumer advocate
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The state Public Service Commission has appointed a new director of its Consumer Advocate division.
Jacqueline Lake Roberts will be responsible for representing the public before the commission.
She’s currently a deputy consumer advocate and will replace the retiring Byron Harris at the end of the month.
Roberts also has served as a senior manager for regulatory affairs and public policy for energy services company EnerNOC Inc. She’s also worked for the Ohio Consumer Counsel and the Public Utility Policy Institute in Concord, N.H.
