Manchin announces 3 staff appointments
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — One of U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin’s top advisers on Capitol Hill is taking over leadership of his state office.
Manchin announced Wednesday that Mara Boggs is moving back to West Virginia to serve as his state director. She is an Iraq combat veteran served 13 years in the Army before serving as Manchin’s chief of operations and senior policy adviser for defense.
Manchin also said deputy state director Sara Payne Scarbro is taking on the additional role of senior adviser, and longtime aide Travis Mollohan will serve as director of constituent services.
