Jun. 15, 2014 @ 09:22 AM

HUNTINGTON — Camden Park, the family-run, family-fun park has been making dads smile for 111 years.

Come out and revel in a great day with your pops on Sunday, June 15 and do it on the cheap as all dad get in for $1 when another guest pays regular general admission.

The park is open 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Once inside, race your dad to ride about  30 rides and attractions including the Big Dipper, the Kite Flier, the Haunted House, the new Rattler, the Scrambler, the Sky Lift, the Train, the Swan Lake pedal boats and, of course, challenge him to a mini golf putt-off at the West Virginia Adventure Mini-Golf, and a gun shooting contest in the Midway.

The park is now open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday through June and July. In August, the park dials back hours as kids head back to school. Camden Park once again hosts the Wayne County Fair from Aug 5-8.
