Tickets for 25th annual Toughman Contest now on sale

HUNTINGTON — Tickets for the 25th Annual Tri-State Original Toughman Contest have just went on sale at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

The largest annual Toughman in the nation, the Huntington Toughman is set for Jan. 11-12 at the Arena.  Tickets went on sale Saturday for the event which is  presented by Jerry Thomas’ West Virginia Sports Promotions, Keystone Light and 84 Lumber.

Up to 100 area men and women are expected to fight in the event, plus fans will also be treated to a “Special Added Attraction”, on the second night, in the form of a scheduled 10 round West Virginia state cruiserweight championship fight between regaining champion Bobby Thomas, Jr. (11-1, 8 KO’s), of Oak Hill, WV versus Warren “The Hitman” Browning, (17-2, 12KO’s) of Lenore, W.Va.

Ticket prices are $15 General Admission, $20 Reserved and $30 for VIP Ringside.  Additional service fees may apply. Tickets will be available at The Big Sandy Arena box office or any Ticketmaster outlet.
