Community participation needed for health department survey
HUNTINGTON — The Cabell-Huntington Health Department is requesting community members’ participation in a confidential community assessment survey to help in their process of acquiring national accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board.
The survey is being conducted in cooperation with Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary’s Medical Center.
For a local health department to apply for accreditation, they must have a current community health assessment, community health improvement plan and an agency strategic plan in place.
The confidential surveys can be taken online at http://cabell.csurv.com or a hard copy can be mailed.
