Club welcomes kids during school break

Purchase this photoHUNTINGTON -- The Huntington Boys and Girls Club and its three locations offer a day program for children when there is no school.
That drew dozens of children to its Guyandotte, Central City and Westmoreland locations Friday.
When there is no school, the clubs open at 7:30 a.m. and offer programming through 6 p.m. The day also includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. Children can play in the gym, color, or play pool or educational computer games.
The locations include: BC McGinnis Unit, 520 Everret St. in Guyandotte, 304-523-5210; Henrietta Payne Unit, 734 14th St. West, 304-523-4037; and Westmoreland Unit, 3609 Hughes St., 304-429-2170.
