Help with heating bill offered in Tri-State

HUNTINGTON -- Goodwill Industries of KYOWVA and the Southwestern Community Action Center are working together to help low-income families pay their heating bills this winter.

The Low Income Energy Assistance Program is designed to help those who cannot afford their energy bills. The Southwestern Community Action Center will accept applications from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Tuesday, Jan. 22, through Friday, Feb. 1. Tables will be set up at the Virginia Avenue Goodwill as well as at the J.W. Scott Community Center, 1637 8th Ave. This will be the only time this year applications will be accepted.
