HUNTINGTON -- Four Marshall University students were not injured when they were robbed at gunpoint Friday night, according to Huntington Police.
The incident was reported to officers at 10:21 p.m. The students reported they were walking eastbound in the 2000 block of Buffington Avenue when three or four men approached them and produced pistols, said Officer Travis Hagan.
The students were robbed of their wallets, Hagan said, and they returned to their dorm on campus before reporting the incident, according to the dispatcher.
No additional suspect information was available Friday night.
