Author of 'Moonshine Maker' to sign books
HUNTINGTON -- Boyd Smith, author of "The Moonshine Maker," will sign books from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Foodland Supermarket, 459 Camden Road, in the Westmoreland area of Huntington.
The book details Smith's years making moonshine and also sitting in on Wayne County snake-handling services, plus stories of kidnappings, feuds and murders from the late 1940s through the 1970s.
His memoir is published by Mid-Atlantic Highlands.
