Healthy Senior event set for Feb. 14
BARBOURSVILLE -- Cabell Huntington Hospital's Senior Services Department will host a Healthy Senior Wednesday event focused on heart health from 8:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the Huntington Mall Food Court.
This month's events will include a free cooking demonstration with healthy eating tips, food samples and refreshments; free health screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, body mass index and target heart rate; opportunities to schedule screenings for vascular health and heart disease; a medication question-and-answer sessions with pharmacists; and, opportunities to join SeniorWise, a free membership program offered through the hospital.
