Stolen car parts recovered at scrap metal business

The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:

GRAND LARCENY: An employee with Nulls Machine Shop in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue reported someone stole 75 rotors, worth a total of $3,750, from the back lot of the business sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The report indicated two people attempted to scrap the stolen items at a local scrap metal business on Tuesday. Police have a suspect.

BREAKING AND ENTERING TO VEHICLE: A 43-year-old man reported someone forced entry into his vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of 5th Avenue between last Friday and Monday and took $300 in electronics, $800 in apparel and $579 in prescription glasses. The man also reported $200 in damage to the vehicle.

BURGLARY: A 34-year-old woman reported someone entered her home in the 2100 block of 8th Avenue on Tuesday and took $4,100 in electronics.

The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Christopher A. Huddleston, 34, was incarcerated at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with a felony bail piece. Bond was denied.

Thomas Michael Burton, 19, was incarcerated at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor petit larceny. Bond was $10,000.

James Ray Jarrell, 44, was incarcerated at 4 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with felony fleeing while driving under the influence, resisting arrest, obstructing and assault on a police officer without a weapon. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
