I-64 work begins in Rowan, Bath counties
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Contractors have started on two projects along Interstate 64 in Rowan and Bath counties that will cost about $10 million, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Contractors are working off the roadways between mile markers 134 and 138 near Morehead and mile markers 117 and 124 in Bath County near Owingsville.
Bridge repairs and blacktop resurfacing are part of the projects that will extend into the spring and will involve lane closures.
