HUNTINGTON -- Huntington police are seeking the public's input in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery at a drive-thru gold and silver exchange business in the 2500 block of 5th Avenue on Friday morning.

The man approached the drive-thru window at the Gold and Silver Exchange at 2565 5th Avenue at 10:30 a.m., Huntington Det. Ryan Bentley said in a press release.

The man acted as if he wanted to pawn jewelry, but, instead, he brandished a handgun toward the employee at the store and demanded money, said Bentley.

The employee gave the man an undetermined amount of money, and the man fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, thin build with dark hair and a mustache.

Anyone with information about the suspect can share that information by calling the Huntington Police Department's tip line at 304-696-4444 or by calling 911.
