Mar. 01, 2013 @ 11:30 PM

BARBOURSVILLE -- The bridal fair and fashion show at the Huntington Mall on Sunday March 3, has a few new activities this year.

Among them are the "Almost Newlywed" game -- to test how well soon-to-be married couples know each other -- and a "cake dive" giving brides a chance to win jewelry.

The Huntington Mall Bridal Fair will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Macy's Court and the Center Court. The "Almost Newlywed Game" will be at noon in the Macy's Court, and the Wedding Day Fashion Show will be at 1 p.m. in the Macy's Court, featuring bridal fashions from Lara's Bridal and Formals and Don's Formal Wear.

From 3 to 4 p.m., brides have a chance to participate in the cake dive in Center Court. The event will feature a three-tiered wedding cake created by Paula Vega Cakes and inside the cake will be a heart-shaped ruby and diamond necklace provided by Rogers Jewelers. Three brides will be given a chance to dive in the cake and win jewels.

The following vendors plan to participate in Sunday's fair:

Lara's Bridal and Formals, Don's Formal Wear, Chiro One Wellness Centers, Orgami Owl by Paula McCoy-Hatfield, Suntan City, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Bare Minerals, Adams Hallmark, Macy's, Michaels, Sweet Confections Bakery, Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, JCP Portrait studio, Apex Hair Salon, JabberWocky, Chapman Printing, Elder-Beerman, Paula Vega Cakes, DJ's Unlimited, Caricatures by J.Bird, Holiday Inn and Suites, Big Sandy Superstore Arena and Candy Craze.
