Two performances were held in Smith Recital Hall, while a lunchtime show was held Friday afternoon at First Presbyterian Church in Huntington.
The festival featured the music of Marshall alumna Esin Gunduz, as well as compositions by Kelly Rossum, Marc Satterwhite, Gabriel Araujo and others.
In addition to the concert performances, Satterwhite gave a presentation Thursday that focused on issues concerning composition and composing concert music. Satterwhite is professor of music at the University of Louisville and coordinator of that university's Grawemeyer Award in Music Composition.
