Three arrested in Ky. meth bust

Mar. 02, 2013 @ 12:00 AM

FLATWOODS, Ky. -- A three men were arrested during one meth bust Thursday, said Greenup County Sheriff Keith Cooper.

Mark C. Porter, 46, and Adam Clifton, 25, both of Flatwoods, Ky., each were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and wanton endangerment after deputies received a tip that meth was being made in the house the men share along Argillite Road, Cooper said in a press release Friday.

Deputies arrived at the residence and discovered a fully active meth lab. While they were at the residence, Christopher K. Jenkins, 23, of Greenup, Ky., arrived to purchase meth, Cooper said.

Jenkins was charged with conspiracy to trafficking in a controlled substance.

Porter and Clifton's residence also had an apartment above it, in which children were living, which resulted in the wanton endangerment charges.
