Man reports bedroom suite stolen from his home
The following information was provided by police reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
GRAND LARCENY: A 63-year-old man reported someone stole a bedroom suite worth $2,000 from his residence in the 200 block of Short Street while he was in the hospital in October. The man said he leased the furniture from a rent-to-own business.
He told police he located the furniture at the home of a friend, who refuses to return it to him or the rental business.
Police have a suspect.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A DEBIT CARD: A 51-year-old man reported someone took his debit card while he was working in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue Tuesday evening. At the time of the report, the man said $1,062 in fraudulent charges had been made using the account. Police have suspects.
The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
Jason Ferrell Wilson, 25, was incarcerated at 4:05 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony breaking and entering. Bond was $25,000.
Michael Scott Smith, 41, was incarcerated at 12:10 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony forgery and uttering. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
