Faith in Action prepares for Chocolate Celebration
HUNTINGTON -- Local members of an interfaith, volunteer caregiving program will host its third annual Chocolate Celebration, according to a press release.
Faith in Action of the River Cities will host the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 20, at the Huntington Mall.
The group is looking for caterers, confectioners and restaurants interested in participating as chocolate vendors. The group also needs groups, families, individuals and families willing to make or donate themed baskets to be sold at a silent auction.
The baskets need to be turned in by Thursday, March 18. They may contain candy, books, videos or anything another person may enjoy.
All proceeds from the event benefit Faith in Action, which provides vital, non-medical assistance free of charge to the elderly and adults with disabilities in Cabell and northern Wayne counties, along with Lawrence County, Ohio.
