Piano for Fun classes for adults still open
HUNTINGTON -- Playing Piano for Fun, an adult piano class for beginners, begins an eight-week session on Monday, April 5.
Classes will start at 6 p.m. each Monday and last an hour. The classes are taught by Bruce Rous and will be held in Marshall University's piano lab in the Department of Music.
Lessons will include reading music, playing simple melodies and basic theory.
A Tuesday afternoon class will be offered later in the spring.
The class is $80 and requires a textbook for $15.95. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. To register, call Rous at 304-696-3149 or send an e-mail to rous1@marshall.edu.
