HENRY ADKINS, 72, of Wayne, died Friday at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a retired self-employed brick mason. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

RAMONA A. BAKER, 90, of Lubbock, Texas, formerly of Barboursville, widow of Firman Lee Baker, died Thursday in Lubbock. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements. www.chapman’s-mortuary.com.

VICTOR E. BOND SR., 83 of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Huntington, died  Aug. 23, 2010. Mr. Bond retired as chief pilot for Interstate Life Insurance Co., and served during World War II as a member of the 82nd Airborne. Burial was private.

CRYSTAL ANN “CRIS” CLARY, 55, of Gallipolis, mother of Brandy L. Richards and Rachel R. Patterson, died Thursday at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. She was employed as a deputy clerk for Gallia County Sheriff’s Office. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Willis Funeral  Home. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery. Bill “William” Copley, 93, of Lavalette, W.Va., died Friday at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, W.Va. Visitation will be at Morris Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be conducted at Morris Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow at Silos D. Copley Cemetery, Dunlow, W.Va.

REBECCA LYNN McCLOUD ELY, 60, of Ethel, wife of Toy “Jack” Ely, died Friday at home. She was a homemaker. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Evans Funeral Home, Chapmanville. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Godby. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

JAMES E. FYFFE, 51, of Amelia, Ohio, formerly of Kenova, husband of Bonnie Gail Fyffe, died Saturday at Hospice of Cincinnati. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.

DOROTHY “DOTTE” HANLEY, 86, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of West Logan, widow of Tom Hanley, died Friday. She was a claims representative for the Social Security Administration, Logan. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church of Logan. Burial will follow at Highland Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at James Funeral Home. James Benjamin "Jim" Hardesty, 82, of Athalia, Ohio, and Barboursville, W.Va., entered the Kingdom of Heaven Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.

BONITA GAIL HUBBARD, 54, of McCarr, died Saturday at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church, Ransom. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at R.E. Rogers Funeral Home, Belfry, with special services 7 p.m. each night.

JACK NATHAN IRBY, 82, of Huntington, husband of Nona Minter Irby, died Saturday at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He retired from Owens-Illinois and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in W.W.II. Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Chapman’s Mortuary. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

GEORGE BURNS McCLINTOCK JR., 76, of Point Pleasant, died Saturday. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Main Street Baptist Church, Point Pleasant. Burial will follow at Letart Falls Cemetery, Letart Falls, Ohio. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Carol Sue Ratliff of Hurricane, W.Va., mother of Kimberly Wallace of Goodlettsville, Tenn., died Friday. She was owner and operator of Carol's Beauty Salon on Rhoda Street.
