Apr. 09, 2013 @ 12:00 AM

LAVALETTE -- The Tri-State Herpetological Society is working with the West Virginia Make It Shine program of the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection to clean up a waterway this Saturday.

At 9 a.m. April 13, volunteers will meet at Millers Fork Pond in near Beech Fork State Park in Wayne County, to clean trash that is in and around the pond.

A map to find the pond is available online at www.tristateherp.com. It is about two miles past Beech Fork, via W.Va. 10, and then left on Millers Fork Road.
