WKEE prepping for Sunday's Bridal Extravaganza at Arena

HUNTINGTON — With nearly 1 in 4 couples becoming engaged between Thanksgiving and New Year's, many women will be ringing in 2013 with a ring on their finger and wedding planning season is in full swing.

To help brides with a one-stop shop of wedding planning and services, WKEE 100’s Bridal Extravaganza is set fro noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, Huntington.

 The largest bridal event  in the Tri-State, the WKEE show features a fashion show highlighting the latest in bridal fashions by The Rose Tree Boutique & Lara’s Bridals & Formals.

WKEE 100’s Bridal Extravaganza also features everything you’ll need for your special day all in one place, including unique ideas and designs to make your wedding day even more memorable. There will be wedding specific vendors participating for all aspects of your big day.

Wedding businesses signed up for the event include: David’s Bridal, Don’s Formal Wear, A to Z The Party Line, Digital Real Photography & Videography, Chiro One Wellness Center, Dinner for Two 21st Century Royal Prestige, Pullman Plaza Hotel, C.F. Door prizes are given away throughout the event using the main bridal registration. Thousands of dollars in prizes given away; including a 3 night cruise for two leaving from Florida or California on one of the following cruise ships Carnival Fun Ship, Norwegian, or Royal Caribbean International. Must be 18 to win prizes.

Doors open at noon and admission is  $5. The event is open to the public.  There will also be a groom room sponsored by Big Sandy Superstores & Texas Roadhouse, so grooms can watch the playoff games on the big screen.
