Girl found shot multiple times

HUNTINGTON — Huntington Police are investigating a shooting late Saturday that left a girl with multiple gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of 19th Street and West 5th Avenue, according to a prepared release. Police responded to the scene and found a 17-year-old female with several gunshot wounds to her upper body. The girl, a Huntington resident, was was taken to a local hospital where she underwent surgery. No other information about her condition was made available.

Police are looking for a black male and a white male. Both are believed to be in their teens with average builds and wearing dark clothing when the shooting occurred. They reportedly fled south after the incident.
