Firefighters battling garage fire in Milton
MILTON -- Firefighters in Milton are on the scene of a fire at a garage behind a dental office in the 1100 block of South Main Street.
Cabell County 911 received multiple calls at about 2:45 p.m. about black smoke coming from the garage.
Milton firefighters were delayed getting on scene because they were helping to block traffic on Interstate 64 at the Milton exit because of a string of accidents.
They arrived on scene within 10 minutes and reported smoke and flames. They also reported that chemicals and gasoline may be stored in the building and the fire was threatening neighboring structures.
