Sobriety checkpoint set for this weekend
HUNTINGTON — The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.
It will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday and continue through 2 a.m. Sunday. It will be located at the intersection of W.Va. 152 and 8th Street Road in Lavalette.
An alternate location will be U.S. 60 and 7th Street in Kenova.
The event will focus on driving under the influence enforcement, along with reckless driving, speeding and seat belt violations.
