3 killed in house fire near Leitchfield
LEITCHFIELD, Ky. (AP) — Three people have died in a house fire in central Kentucky.
Leitchfield Second Assistant Fire Chief Tony King says two men and a child were killed in the fire that broke out Sunday night, and two other adults and two children escaped.
The Record in Grayson County reported the victims were identified as Eddie Clouse; his son, Cole Clouse, who would have turned 2 next month; and a family friend, Kalvin King.
Deputy Kentucky Fire Marshal Chris Crawford told the newspaper that the cause of the fire was under investigation.
The mobile home that burned is located on VanMeter Road near Leitchfield.
King says the fire was reported around 10:45 p.m. CDT.
