Former MU player arraigned in court

HUNTINGTON -- Former Marshall University football player Antwon Rashard Chisholm was arraigned in Cabell County Magistrate Court late Tuesday afternoon.
Chisholm, 18, remained silent while his rights and the charge of first degree robbery were read to him. His bond was set at $100,000.
He was arrested on Interstate 81 near Greenville, Va., on Aug. 14. -- one day after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Chisholm, a native of Bell Glade, Fla., and fellow former Marshall football player, Michael Fleurizard III are charged with robbing a Papa John's Pizza delivery man by placing him in a choke hold and taking the victim's keys, $20 cash, a cell phone and Papa John's product.
Chisholm, Fleurizard and former Marshall wide receiver Fred Pickett were dismissed from the Marshall University football team. When the players were released, coach Doc Holliday said the three had "not lived up to what we require of a Marshall University football player."
Chisholm was incarcerated at Western Regional Jail Tuesday evening. A preliminary hearing for Chisholm is set for 10:30 a.m. Sept. 1.
