Four jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE — Four people were among those jailed on felony charges since Monday evening, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.

Karen Peterffy, 47, was incarcerated at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Jonathan M. Scarberry, 29, was incarcerated at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony accessory to breaking and entering, along with misdemeanor fleeing. Bond was $25,000.

Stephen Albert Hughes, 34, was incarcerated at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony accessory to breaking and entering, along with misdemeanor fleeing. Bond was $25,000.

Eddie Arthur Elbert, 45, was incarcerated Monday evening. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, along with misdemeanor battery on an officer and obstruction. He was released on a $20,000 bond.
