MU Faculty Senate to meet Thursday
HUNTINGTON -- Marshall University's Faculty Senate will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in Room BE5 in the Memorial Student Center on campus.
The senate will vote on matters regarding Marshall Board of Governors Policies, student affairs and university programs.
The Senate will consider a measures to create new degrees in sports management and the art, music, theater and allied arts.
It also will consider a revision of constitution for the Library Committee.
The Senate also will hear regular reports from Marshall President Stephen Kopp, Provost Gayle Ormiston, the Senate's board of governors liaison professor Marty Amerikaner and state Advisory Council of Faculty representative Beth Campbell.
