Girl Scouts celebrating World Thinking Day
The Girls Scouts of the Black Diamond Council will celebrate World Thinking Day on Feb. 22, with globally themed activities, games and service projects to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries.
The 2010 World Thinking Day theme is "Together we can end extreme poverty and hunger." Many girls in Black Diamond's jurisdiction will take on projects to raise funds and supplies for Haiti's earthquake victims as Girl Scouts of the USA has temporarily suspended its stringent rule against Girl Scouts raising money for other organizations.
