Huntington Museum of Art hosting event for potential docents
HUNTINGTON — The Huntington Museum of Art is hosting an open house for anyone interesting in being a docent.
The free event is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7. Refreshments will be provided.
A docent is someone who volunteers time to lead schoolchildren and museum visitors on guided tours. No prior experience or background in art is required. If you enjoy art and sharing your knowledge, you are asked to come out for more information.
Docents also receive training on exhibits each Monday morning.
