HUNTINGTON -- The Cabell County 911 Center enlisted the help of Santa Claus to benefit one of its own Saturday morning.

Staff from the center hosted a benefit pancake breakfast with Santa as well as a bake/craft sale to support midnight shift dispatcher Jimmie Foltz and his family. Foltz's daughter, Megan, is battling leukemia in a Cincinnati, Ohio, area hospital.

The event, which included pancakes, sausage and beverages, was hosted at the Tri-State Fire Academy, 4200 Ohio River Road, Huntington. The morning concluded with pictures with Santa.

All proceeds from the day, which totaled more than $2,000, benefited the Foltz family.
