Route 60 checkpoint planned for Dec. 15
HUNTINGTON -- The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint beginning at 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.
The checkpoint will take place on U.S. 60 near the 29th Street exit of I-64 and continue until 2 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16.
An alternate checkpoint site has been designated at 5th Avenue and 22nd Street in Huntington.
The focus of the checkpoint will be driving under the influence enforcement. Other enforcement activities may be conducted with the police focusing on reckless driving, speeding and seatbelt violations.
