HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to host an open house at Beech Fork Lake.

The open house is scheduled for Aug. 16, from noon to 4 p.m.

Events will include a tour of the dam and water safety information. The tours will be available from noon to 2 p.m. Pre-registration is not required. Adult participants need to bring a government-issued photo ID. Cell phones, cameras and carry bags will not be permitted on the tour.
