Open House today at Jesse Stuart Foundation

ASHLAND - The Jesse Stuart Foundation, located at 1645 Winchester Ave., hosts its annual Open House from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8.

Celebrate the 108th birthday of the late Greenup author Jesse Stuart, as well as the 35th anniversary of JSF with a sale, refreshments and door prizes.

Enjoy a huge moving sale at the bookstore which is moving from downtown Ashland. Many items thoughout the bookstore will be subject to deep discounts, including select Jesse Stuart Foundation published titles. Visitors to the open house will have the opportunity to browse and purchase signed Jesse Stuart first editions, as well as autographed books. 

The first 100 visitors to the open house will receive a free "Kentucky Is My Land" print, refreshments and door prizes.
