Five jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE — Five people were jailed on felony charges since Thursday evening, according to booking records kept at the Western Regional Jail.

Sharon Kay Shaw, 57, was incarcerated at 5:10 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony operating/attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

James Tennison Shaw, 50, was incarcerated at 5:10 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony operating/attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Wendell L. Cruse, 56, was incarcerated at 2 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, along with misdemeanor trespassing and two counts of receiving/transferring stolen property. Bond was denied pending arraignment.

Roger Alan McKinney, 49, was incarcerated Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony fraudulent schemes and forgery, along with misdemeanor permitting driving under the influence. Bond was $53,000.

Shawn Allen Legg, 50, was incarcerated Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony fraudulent schemes and forgery, along with misdemeanor first-offense driving under the influence. Bond was $53,000.
