Ironton man arrested in undercover bust

Aug. 09, 2014 @ 07:55 PM

ASHLAND, Ky. — An Ironton man was arrested early Saturday morning after authorities said he sold crack cocaine to an undercover deputy.

Jason France, 31, was charged with second-offense first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, according to a release from the Boyd County Sheriff’s Office.

The release said undercover deputies bought the drugs from France at a motel on Winchester Avenue in Ashland.

Minutes later, market units conducted a traffic stop on him and located a large amount of crack cocaine and money.
