Boil water advisory issued in West Pea Ridge
WEST PEA RIDGE, W.Va. (AP) — A boil water advisory has been issued for parts of West Pea Ridge.
West Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for about 40 customers on Pinecrest Drive, Liberty Lane, Grady Drive, Dogwood Place, Heavenly Place, and Pinecrest lane streets. The advisory follows a water main break.
The advisory was issued on Sunday.
Affected customers are being told to boil their water before consuming it because it kills bacteria and other organisms.
Once the system recovers, West Virginia American Water will be collecting additional water quality samples in the area of the outage.
